Documentary short film | 10 min 45 sec | 2025
A deteriorated film shot in 1982 in a Latin American country presents a sequence of everyday images, among which a few stand out as testimony to the violent events that took place on May 9 of that year. Interwoven with these images, the voice of a man presents the official version of events. Beneath its apparent banality, the film raises the suspicion that what truly happened was deliberately concealed.
The images in this film were generated by Jorge Caballero and Camilo Restrepo using artificial intelligence technologies, with the aim of exploring the increasingly blurred boundaries between photographic archives and synthetic imagery.
