KinkTimacy follows Gatsby Lim, an Australian-Cambodian kink educator, as he heals from past trauma through shibari, the Japanese practice of rope bondage rooted in mindfulness and connection. Marginalised within the mainstream kink scene, Gatsby finds in shibari safe spaces and mentors who champion a playful, nuanced approach: a portrait of kink’s transformative power that invites viewers to explore desire safely and consensually.
